Each syringe, each spawn bag, each kit is prepared with the same objective:

This page simply explains how and why we guarantee maximum quality.

1️⃣ Our philosophy: clean, traceable, transparent 🌱

• ✔️ Only edible and legal strains : oyster mushrooms, shiitake, lion's mane, enoki, shimeji…

• ✔️ Each product has a batch number , a preparation date and a specific strain .

• ✔️ If a product does not meet our criteria (questionable smell, suspicious color, contamination), it is thrown away immediately , never sold.

🎯 Objective: To enable even a beginner to cultivate calmly, without stress.

2️⃣ A controlled work environment 🧪

To prepare LC, spawn, and substrates, we use:

• 🧼 A clean space, dedicated to mycology

• ✨ Surfaces are disinfected regularly

• 🧤 Gloves, masks and hand washing after each handling

• 🔧 Disinfected or sterilized tools (syringes, needles, knives)

For sensitive steps, we apply practices inspired by laboratory methods to minimize the risk of contamination.

3️⃣ Why is sterilization essential? 🔥

Fungi love nutrient-rich environments (grain, wood, bran)...
👉 Bacteria and mold too.

That's why we:

• 🔥 Let's sterilize substrates at high temperature and pressure

• ⏳ Let's respect minimum times according to the bag's volume

• ❄️ Let it cool completely before inoculation

Sterilization allows for:

• to eliminate unwanted microbes

• to give the mycelium a head start

• to reduce the risk of contamination in your home

4️⃣ From seed to finished product: our quality chain 🔁

🧫 Starting strain

Selection of a healthy strain (agar or mother culture).

💉 Liquid culture (LC)

• Prepared in a sterile environment

• Inoculation with a vigorous strain

• Strict visual inspection: color, homogeneity, absence of particles

🌾 Grain (spawn)

• Preparation + sterilization

• Inoculation with clean LC

• Controlled incubation

• ❌ Immediate rejection of suspicious bags

🪵 Substrates & Master Mix

• Wood preparation/supplements

• Sterilization at appropriate pressure

• Inoculation in a clean environment

🍄 Fruiting Kits

• Only blocks that are well colonized , healthy and smell of “fresh mushroom” are retained.

• Questionable blocks are eliminated without compromise.

5️⃣ Traceability & Batch Numbers 🏷️

For each batch, we retain:

• 📅 Preparation date

• 🍄 Strain (e.g., Blue Oyster Mushroom, Enoki Mushroom, Lion's Mane Mushroom…)

• 📦 Type: LC, spawn, Master Mix, kit

• 🔥 Sterilization conditions / cycle used

You will often find the following on your product:

• A strain ID (ENO, SHI, LMA, BEO…)

• A batch number

• A preparation date/code

🔍 This allows us to track each batch and continuously improve our methods.

6️⃣ What to do if you suspect contamination? ⚠️

Here are the signs to watch for:

• ❌ Green, black or colored stains

• ❌ Sour, alcoholic, strong or abnormal odor

• ❌ Slimy texture

If you observe this:

1. 🚫 Do not consume the contents of the bag.

2. 🚮 Don't open it in the house (or do it outside).

3. 🗑️ Throw away the bag (waste or compost if you're comfortable with that).

4. 📸 Write to us with a photo + prize: we will help you understand what happened.
